FAQ

Questions brands ask us most.

Exclusive branded leads and appointments for home improvement, explained.

What is Lead Gurus?

Lead Gurus is a lead generation platform built only for home improvement companies. We run branded campaigns for 150+ remodelers, window, bath, roofing, siding and flooring brands, and deliver exclusive leads and self-booked appointments built around your cost of marketing.

Are your leads exclusive?

Yes. Every lead comes from an ad running under your brand and goes only to you. We never buy, share or resell leads.

How are you different from a lead aggregator?

Aggregators buy and resell the same unbranded leads to several contractors. We generate leads from branded ads built for your company, so the homeowner is responding to you, not a marketplace.

Are your leads TCPA compliant?

Yes. Every funnel we run is TCPA compliant, with TrustedForm third-party verification built in. We can also add TrustedForm to your own landing pages.

Do you charge per lead?

No. We work on a percentage of ad spend. Cost-per-lead models incentivize bad leads: the vendor gets paid for volume, whether or not those leads ever set or close. Our model keeps us focused on what matters to you: appointments, sales and your cost of marketing.

Do you have a minimum ad spend?

Yes. The minimum is $10,000 a month in ad spend, so the algorithm has enough data to learn and optimize.

Do you guarantee results?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Paid media results depend on your market, offer, follow-up speed and season, and no honest partner can promise a number up front. What we promise is to put you in the best possible position to win, using more home improvement data than anyone else.

What are self-booked appointments?

About 35% of our leads pick their own appointment time in the form, from the sales times you set, before your team calls. The request goes straight to your CRM.

What set rate can I expect?

Across our portfolio, about 34% of leads turn into set appointments. Results vary by market, vertical and how fast your team follows up.

What verticals do you work with?

20+ home improvement verticals, including bath, windows and doors, roofing, siding, flooring, kitchen and cabinets, decking, fencing, coatings, garage doors, closets, gutters, HVAC and solar.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month; you can pause or stop anytime.

How fast can we launch?

24–48 hours after onboarding.

What do you need from me to get started?

Your brand assets, your offer and your service area. We handle the strategy, creative, landing pages, media buying and optimization.

Does it work with my CRM?

Yes. Leads and appointments go straight into your CRM. When you send back results (sets, sits, sales), the engine optimizes toward the leads that actually close.

Can I see my results?

Yes. Every client gets a live portal with leads, appointments, issued, demos, sales, cost per step and cost of marketing, plus benchmarks against anonymized clients in your vertical.

What makes a partnership work best?

Fast follow-up (including nights and weekends), a daily CRM results feed, a big enough market and budget, and a long-term mindset. Paid media is a law of averages, so judge it over months, not days.

If I already run other paid media partners, will I be competing against myself?

In theory, yes, but much less than you'd think. Meta targets individual people, not categories. When a homeowner scrolls, your ad isn't just up against other home improvement ads; it's competing with every other advertiser that wants that person's attention, from car dealers to clothing brands. Another home improvement partner is a small slice of that auction. What wins the attention is strong, branded creative, and that's where we focus.

Do you run local or multi-location campaigns?

Yes. We run broad campaigns plus city- and county-level ads, and split budgets by market and vertical for multi-location brands.

What channels do you run?

Meta and Google.
